So long HK...

I have a couple days here in HK and then it's ho hum back to the U.S.  Hmm it will be hard to look at things the same way.

It was great that I got to meet up with C in Shanghai and M in HK but sadly A decided that he wanted to work at the apple store and missed out on alot of great times.

Sadly the police are cracking down on pirating in HK.  I had to go through some complicated and shady methods to acquire stuff.  I guess on a good note the fakes should hopefully be better.  On a sad note, I should have bought more of the fakes that I saw in China.

Highlights of the trip: beautiful mountains in Guilin, climbing the great wall, buying bottled drinks for 20 U.S. cents, haggling with vendors, the HK skyline from victoria peak, and so much more.

Dislikes: rude and spitting from the mainland chinese, the apparent poverty everywhere, the food in china was ok in china and much better in HK, atrocious driving in China, my depleting cash  :(   All's well, happy I made this trip, it's worth it.

Be back in Hawaii in 2 days.

Let's ring in the new year on a positive note...oh wait no that would mean there would be something positive.

I realize that the chain of command is important.

But really now, is it necessary for me to keep asking someone above me questions when all they do is ask the person above them who asks the person above them because none of them know the answer?  And this has happened continuously over the last 3-4 weeks.

Damn it all.  I hate this bureacracy.

Hey all,

Rome's a great place to be.  So far I've learned about a whole bunch of nerdy hacker tools.  Here's a short list of some of them:

superscan: port scanning

ethereal/Snort: packet scanning

subseven: an old hacking program

a whole bunch of vulnerability scripts

metasploit: an easy way to deliver a package and exploit a target computer

shorewall: a customizable limux firewall

hacking a windows login prompt

Nmap is also some what cool

and much much more.

Fun for the whole family.  But really, it's tireing here.  I have work or class and homework 5 days a week not to mention an 8 mile run on Fridays.  Anyhow, will update later when I return from NY city.

You're pretty damn nerdy if u know what 1|V|4935 means.

Have a great 4th.

Hi all, I guess it's time to update xanga once again.  Well for the summer, I'll be in Rome.  Yeah thats right kids...Rome, NY

Where the hell is that?  Beats me but so far its kinda a drag.  I guess steven was right, Rome is in the middle of nowhere.

Updates to follow when I get a more reliable internet

Ciao.  Summer, enjoy whats left of it.
